Title: Meniscal Flounce

Imaging Findings:

Figure Sagittal MRI shows symmetric fold (arrows) along the free edge of the meniscus occurring in the absence of other internal derangements (1). May mimic meniscal defect on single MRI plane though differentiated by its continuity on adjacent image planes with an otherwise normal meniscus.

Clinical:

Asymptomatic incidental finding.

Etiology:

Unknown etiology.
