Supervised Teaching

 Each student must take at least two credit hours to satisfy the requirement of student teaching. To fulfill each credit hour of supervised teaching, students must teach two, 1.5 hour lectures, or two, 3-hour laboratories, or a combination of one lecture and one laboratory. The tasks to be accomplished for a lecture and a laboratory are:

Lectures: to include preparation of and presentation of the lecture, preparation and distribution of a handout for the lecture, preparation of and grading of homework problems pertaining to the lecture and preparation of and grading of questions for inclusion in examinations.

Laboratories: to include preparation of and presentation of a laboratory introductory lecture, running of the laboratory, grading of the laboratory report, and preparation of and grading of questions for inclusion in examinations.
