Student Representative
The
Committee on Graduate Studies (COGS) student representative is Patricia
(Trish) Tynan, a third year graduate student in the PhD program, Radiation
Therapy Physics track. Trish received her Bachelors degree in Physics
from DePauw University and subsequently worked in nuclear research
Nuclear Physics group at Univerity of New Hampshire and the High Energy
Physics groups at University of Arizona and Fermilab.
She currently works as a Teaching Assistant at Cancer Therapy and
Research Center. Her PhD research involves evaluating surface
doses from electron beams delivered through a photon multi-leaf
collimation system under the direction of Sotirios Stathakis, PhD
.
